The reason is that the domain is a pronoun, which can be used for forming imaginative and catchy domain names – write.it, youcanmake.it and so on. This is a way to construct an easy-to-memorize domain name, so that it will be easier for your visitors to go back to your website or to share it with coworkers and acquaintances. The TLD can also be used for a website, which is connected to the information sector having in mind the fact that IT is an abbreviation, which is used all over the world.

Because of the fact that .IT domains are not registered directly by IT-NIC, the Registry that supervises this top-level extension, such a domain can be purchased through a third-party domain registration provider, such as ours.
