Memcached in Hosting
Memcached is available as an optional upgrade with each and every hosting account that we’re offering and in case you would like to use it for any script-driven Internet site that you host on our advanced cloud platform, you’ll be able to enable it in a couple of simple steps through your Hepsia Control Panel. In the meantime, you will be offered the option to upgrade two different features – the number of instances and the system memory. The first one refers to the number of the sites that can use the Memcached content caching system at the same time, so if you need it for several sites, you can order a number of instances. The second one has to do with the total amount of memory that Memcached will be permitted to use to cache info, so for multiple sites (or for one resource-demanding site), you’d better order more memory for improved performance. The memory is available in increments of 16 MB and more memory can be ordered at any point. With Memcached, each script-powered site hosted on our servers will load extremely fast.
Memcached in Semi-dedicated Hosting
If you obtain any of our semi-dedicated server plans, you will find Memcached as an optional feature in the Upgrades part of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel, so if you wish to use it for any of the websites hosted in your account, you can activate it with only a few clicks of the mouse. The distributed memory caching platform is suitable for any script-powered app like Joomla™, WordPress, or even a custom-built app, and based on your requirements, you’ll be able to select two different things – how many Internet sites will use Memcached, in other words – the number of instances; and how much data will be stored, in other words – the amount of memory that the platform will employ. The two things are not tied to each other, so if you manage a regularly visited website with lots of data, you can get one instance and a larger amount of memory. The Memcached platform will improve the performance of your sites soon after you enable it and both you and your site visitors will enjoy better load speeds.
Memcached in VPS Web Hosting
Memcached is included by default with each virtual private server that we’re offering on the condition that you choose Hepsia as your Control Panel, so you will not have to pay any extra money to be able to take advantage of the full power of this object caching system. The more powerful Virtual Private Server hosting package you select, the more memory Memcached will have for data caching purposes, but you will have at least several hundred megabytes at all times, which is much more than what you’d get with a shared web hosting package. This will allow you to use the Memcached caching system for multiple websites, regardless of how busy they are, which in turn goes to say that you can use a low-end package for them without overloading your VPS. The Memcached caching system is perfect for script-driven software applications like OpenCart, WordPress, Joomla™ or Mambo, and you can use it even with a custom-built app. Soon after you activate the Memcached system, it will start caching information and you will distinguish the improved overall performance of your sites.
Memcached in Dedicated Servers Hosting
Any dedicated server ordered with our Hepsia Control Panel comes with Memcached already installed by default, so you can start using the distributed memory object caching system once the server is up and running, without having to upgrade or install anything. The amount of system memory that Memcached can use depends on the server that you’ve chosen, but as our servers are exceptionally powerful and considering the fact that it’s likely that you’ll host resource-consuming Internet sites on them, the minimum amount of memory that the caching system can use is 3 GB. This will enable you to increase the overall performance of extremely busy sites with ease and you’ll see the difference soon after the Memcached system starts caching database requests. You can use the system with any database-powered online portal, including those that are based on famous Content Management Systems like WordPress and Joomla™.
